Perhaps “teaching hours” could be the standard instead of “teaching days”. How long is the typical school day now? I went 9 to 4 in JH and HS. Don’t remember how many days…I think it was 168.

IMO teachers are like social workers; there are good ones, average ones and poor ones. Since they deal with humans, the process to really determine if they are good, average or poor is difficult.
