Couldn’t help but notice some of the dark stuff that went on during the Super Bowl that makes one go “hmmmm.” This article reflects my thoughts: http://spiritdaily.com/firead3.htm

Groucho, would you care to enlighten me about the changing times since the earlier Super Bowls when all the ads, pomp and circumstances were about patriotism rather than occultism?

  • Profile picture of Groucho Groucho said 4 months, 1 week ago:

Me? Enlighten you? Pax, please, you and I are so diametrically opposite that the chances of either one of us “enlightening” the other are sub-atomically infinitesimal.

“God Made A Farmer” and the tale of a loyal Clydesdale are occultism?

sub-atomically infinitesimal. I like that one, maybe Pax would like it if all quarterbacks TEBOWED before each game? C’mon pax, lighten up

[major eye roll] We expect that there are people who experience life in terms of the symbols they encounter. We just don’t expect they will become public advocates to force others to believe that a power failure is a sign from God.

The halftime show was so bad, with all the sexual dancing, I turned it to the puppy bowl. I didn’t want my kids to see that crap.

Have to agree, lima, the half-time show was unimpressive gyrations and pyrotechnics. I didn’t watch it, either. Fortunately, I didn’t have kids in the house, so nobody had to make that judgement call. I’d be more afraid of exposing small fry to stupidity than sexualized displays.

Someone thinks up these dumb halftime shows. They are a waste of time for me.

Perhaps a couple of quotes from Jesus will shine some light on why some fail to see society’s descent into zombieland:

Matt. 16: 1-4 — And there came to him the Pharisees and Sadducees tempting: and they asked him to shew them a sign from heaven. But he answered and said to them: When it is evening, you say, It will be fair weather, for the sky is red. And in the morning: Today there will be a storm, for the sky is red and lowering. You know then how to discern the face of the sky: and can you not know the signs of the times? A wicked and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign: and a sign shall not be given it, but the sign of Jonas the prophet.

Luke 23:28 — Daughters of Jerusalem, weep not over me; but weep for yourselves, and for your children.
