    Yep, it’s Gun Appreciation Day.
    [note: Not a Onion story]

    1. A man was shot at the Medina County gun show Saturday afternoon
    He accidentally pulled the trigger on a semi-automatic.
    2. 3 hurt in accidental shooting at Raleigh gun show Oops. He was removing it from the case at a security checkpoint.

    3. Man accidentally shot outside gun show Walking while loading. Hey kids. Don’t try this at home.

    The world is full of dumbass people and gun shows have there fair share just like any other event. Millions of these dumbass people from all political and religious views have drivers licenses and cars. Best described as Morons with Cars. I’m more afraid of the people with cars than those with guns. Problem is, there is no real test for stupid. Some of the most brillient people I have known are functionally stupid.

    Last week there was a gun show at the KC fairgrounds. Like gun shows all over the country this was probably the largest crowd we have seen here. Hundreds of firearms were sold and two semi truck loads of ammo went out the door. Thousands of dollars changed hands. A good time was had by all and nobody got hurt. America, what a country.

    You mean there were no “dumbass people” there buying guns without a background check? It would be interesting to track those purchases and see which ones end up in the hands of criminals. Of course, we’ll never know but the reputation of gun shows will be tainted until all sales are covered by background checks.

    MM, how many of those sales were there ? And what class weapons were they ? How long were you at the show witnessing these crimes ?

    Yesterday MM posted this;
    “You mean there were no “dumbass people” there buying guns without a background check? It would be interesting to track those purchases and see which ones end up in the hands of criminals.     My answer was;
    MM, how many of those sales were there ? And what class weapons were they ? How long were you at the show witnessing these crimes ?

    MM has yet to answer and I think it’s important that he does as he seems to be the only one that knows about and witnessed those crimes.

    I think we should use the same criteria for identifying those that want to buy guns and those that want to vote…..
