He used a Bushmaster .223, an AR-15 style rifle.

You know, Mach, banning pistols doesn’t enter into the equation much, now. Frankly that area isn’t so much the problem as the promiscuous death that occurs when people have weapons that can fire 30 rounds without reloading. Though there was talk after the Gabby Giffords shooting about the magazines that allowed Loughner to use a Glock pistol as an assault weapon.

Here’s an analogy: we didn’t ban alcohol to greatly reduce the number of DUI deaths. But the answer wasn’t to put more alcohol out into the hands of people either.

One news report said the bodies of those children had multiple rounds fired into them. Some as many as seven. Is that another lie?

Interesting. I clicked on the link for the MSNBC story, which has a preface that ‘this story has been updated’ and gives a web address. You go to that link and the story corroborates what we’re saying. The original MSNBC Today link is very early in the investigation…like the day after or so.
