As if this were unique with the First Family, targets of every political kook and moron at every point in the history of our country. The Bush daughters had the same protection at college, genius.

Believe me, John, you would not want me to be in charge. Peace.

No mention of whether the school has a history of having armed guards, is there? I didn’t find any. I do know the Obamas kids are not the only political family who attends that school. It’s the same one Amy Carter attended and I think it probably has been budgeting for security of the past several decades and charging a hefty tuition to the parents since it’s a private school. Of course, the word stylist at Breitbart doen’t look into those trivial matters. So what was the case, Andy? Did the security people exist before the Obama children started to school there? And does the secret service always attend members of the First Family regardless of the presence of pre-existing security? Does the reaction to the President’s tone on guns make you consider that the school might have gotten threats you don’t, and will never, know about? Does it seem at least plausible that the Obamas CHOOSE that school because it had an existing security force? I mean, what could happen from Obama committing to do something about gun violence? Eat your peas.

MM, the the point is and remains, obie and many other of the DC elitests send their kids to a school that has armed guards while advocating that our children’s schools don’t need them. All the idiotic trash that you posted above has nothing to do with that FACT.

DC Elitist Alert: Richard Nixon’s daughter, Trisha, attended that school. I bet if you look at the kids presently in that school you’ll find a bunch of elitist Republican’s kids, too. School that serve the president tend to draw people of the same stature so don’t be surprised to find out there are children of both Republican and Democratic congressmen and women, cabinet members and so forth. You got a problem with school choice for people who can pay for it?

And that elitist President George W. Bush. He attended not one, but TWO elitist high schools after starting public school in Midland, Texas. Hissss! Booo! Elitist! As I recall, you are quite the George W. Bush fan. What? You never critiqued his “elitist” education? Shocking!

Pardon my noticing, but Presidential children have been going to that school since Teddy Roosevelt was in the White House. Heck, Roosevelt probably left an endowment to the school for its security. Bush’s Phillips Academy has $800 Million in endowments. But how quickly you change your tune after we pierce the surface of the skin. You think Obama is bad, get a load of Republican Ron Paul and lookie-lookie – he thinks a market based approach to gun control would be wiser. How conservative. Sees I heard the same thing right here on this forum – from me.

“Do we really want to live in a world of police checkpoints, surveillance cameras, metal detectors, X-ray scanners, and warrantless physical searches?” Paul wrote.

“We see this culture in our airports: witness the shabby spectacle of once proud, happy Americans shuffling through long lines while uniformed TSA agents bark orders. This is the world of government provided ‘security,’ a world far too many Americans now seem to accept or even endorse. School shootings, no matter how horrific, do not justify creating an Orwellian surveillance state in America.”

Make up your mind, Andy. First you complain that the school has security. But when you find out the security pre-existed before the Obama kids started attending, then you switch your complaint, “They’re elitist” even while you own political brand sends their kids to the same school. How were the peas?

groucho, you being in charge? Now that’s funny. That would be as bad as some incompetent, ethnic, left wing, worthless socialist, being in charge of the United States. Peace out.

Can’t argue that logic. I see the light. I’ve gotta get me a machine gun.

    And he takes the bait.
Again, do your homework. That school had armed guards BEFORE the Obama’s went there, and will have them AFTER they leave.
I see you continue to NOT arm yourself with facts before going into a battle of wits.
You better reload before you come back here.

Of those people that you listed as having family members attend that school, how many of them

    1. had thousands of automatic weapons disappear across the border into a neighboring country that is known for it’s violence?

    2. called for stricter gun laws because of a single incident?

I haven’t seen or heard anything in regards to Obama’s position on armed campus security. Does anyone have a link, quote, etc citing his position?
