AndyA, thanks for the inspiration.. I heard the gun shows were swamped with customers. Thanks for the update on that.

Just to get you in the mood because guns are so sexy…

Teen shoots dead two adults and three children inside Albuquerque home
That boy was Nehemiah Griego, son of Rev. Chaplin Greg Griego, And it gets sexier. The other adult he shot to death was believed to be his mother, and the three children he shot to death were among his nine sibling. Guess the other six kids weren’t home. They’re not saying yet. But it has “sexy” all over it. Especially this statement:

‘Military-type assault rifle’ found at scene

    [update: AR-15 (hat tip: catspaw]
Wonder if it looked like the fanny-pack AndyA’s bushmaster babe is sporting. And I wonder if it was Chaplin Pastor Griego’s gun. Sizzling! Do not try to clear a chamber or load your gun while reading.

    In other sexy gunplay:

(again, just to get you in the mood)

Stanley Wilkinson, Rochester pastor, faces felony for accidentally shooting granddaughter

It seems not to have occurred to the Reverend Wilkerson to call out something like, “Halt! Who goes there!” or “Speak up. I’m aiming a gun at you!”.

Look at that cute little face. Wouldn’t she look hot with a nice assault rifle slung across her scantly clad backside instead of, you know, having bullets in her?

What cutting and pasting, John? Those are links to the original stories and so, too, are the images. You can’t upload images to this site from your computer so you have to link to them. It’s ungetaroundable. Maybe a class in HTML would be helpful to you so you’ll know the difference a link and a copy and paste. Remember, use quotation marks or “block quote” markup when you cite someone else’s work, else they’ll think you are violating their copyright. I look forward to you reminding your pal AndyA that he’s “copying and pasting” Be sure and call him a name when you do it. He won’t flag your comment. But I already did, for what it’s worth. :-)

And since you don’t have any comment to make about the topic. just what is the point of trolling it? Just want the attention even if it’s negative? Poor guy.

AR-15′s don’t kill people, nuts with access to AR-15′s kill people. Or something.

Since self loading assault rifles are not a threat to public safety and because we have a god-given right to possess such weapons without gun-controls, gun registration, or background checks, MM is obviously a communist who hates America and wants to abolish the Constitution.

There are MANY more powerful semi automatic rifles than the AR-15 available to the public, here is a link for just 5. http://hunting.about.com/od/toppicks/tp/tp_auto_rifles.htm

So, are we banning guns just for the way they LOOK? and many more people are killed using handguns, why no big outcry from the left about those?, and for the record, I am for gun registration, or background checks, that’s been the law here for a long time.

My point is that extremists seem to have the loudest voice that advocate doing nothing is a practical solution for a problem that supposedly doesn’t exist. It’s difficult for me to imagine a number of influential politicians and spokespeople have head in the sand mentality.

Doing nothing is the wrong answer, enforcing the laws we have, better background checks, mental health checks, are all good things, but there is no answer to stop all the nutjobs out there who want to do evil

According to NBC there was no assualt weapon used at Sandy Hook.

That just leaves the New mexico incident for the the blissninnies to whine about.

Although there is a common factor in many of these cases that very few people are discussing. While different types of firearms are used and some of the incidents were more deadly than others, the shooters were NOT the registered user of the firearm. All the checks in the world aren’t going to address what is, IMO, the common issue; the responsibility of the owner to safely secure their firearms. I would go a step further than checking into the actual person and go to a yearly recertification process which would include having law enforcement inspect the home and assure that the firearms are reasonably secured. Of course, you can do everything short of stripping the second amendment and we will still have accidents. However, doing nothing shouldn’t be an option.

Andy is busting his buttons now, like guns less dangerous than an assault could still kill 27 people are some kind of victory for the gun crowd. It’s such a creepy “victory” it makes people shiver.

  • Profile picture of AndyA AndyA said 4 months ago:

Is it hard to shiver while foaming at the mouth ?

  • Profile picture of catpaw catpaw said 4 months ago:

Check out AndyA’s cut and paste propoganda. Most hand guns don’t have extended bananna magazines or go by an “AR” or sniper rifle designation. I have yet to hear a logical rationale why such weapons should be accessible to the general public.
Saying a deer rifle with a scope can do the same damage is not saying the potential for destruction is the same.

mm, why would you flag my comment? There is nothing about it that violates the terms here. Or is it because you got your little feelers hurt?
