I voted for Barack Obama because I want to save what’s left of the Constitution, and I will do so again. I don’t want Rick Santorum jailing me because I wantonly indulged my 30%.

In other heartbreaking news, Whitney Houston just crossed the Rainbow Bridge. What a sobering reminder of how fortunate I am to be a senior citizen. (~Crying~)

Saw this one all over the web ~ totally odd how and what motivates some peoples voting. ’Cuz that’s why other folks vote for other people — because they look like them,”
He must have forgotten the “good hair” rule for women . ;-)

Houston’s death is a sad thing.

Whitney Houston has not been a real star for a long time. She was just a crack head who killed herself by her own choice of her lifestyle.

I’ve seen Samuel Jackson interviewed on talk shows a couple of times. Intelligent, coherent and civil conversation. He seems to overlook that the president is not the first black person elected to an office by a white majority. A black couple I know wanted Clinton to get the nomination. They weren’t voting for her because of her gender.

    RIP Whitney.

    I thought Obama wasn’t black enough…

Leave it to Hollywood’s brightest minds to dumb our political system down to a playground popularity contest.

Stressful jobs often produce a sense of non-empathy. It is one of the wonderful ways the human mind/id has of self protection. Try to hit those notes, imagining all of our demons and my only thoughts are ~ forgive us of our bitterness, our small minds, our limited hearts. Our oh so limited self awareness…
I am reminded of a Bonnie Raitt tune ~Shadow of Doubt…
Oh but Lord no don’t make it easy
Keep me working til I work it on out
Just please shine enough light on me
Till I’m free from this shadow of doubt,,,

Would that be the “flawed” Constitution he has referred to, AD? I’ve been hearing a lot lately from him and liberal Supreme Court judges about how “old” our Constitution is, not really up to the task of the modern world. Yet somehow, it has survived longer than any other. I’m not so sure he wants to “save” the Constitution as much as he wants to “change” it to reflect his own views of the world.

As far as Santorum goes, please identify where he claims to want to “jail” you for your wanton behavior? Specifics, please, not just talking points.

A vote for BHO definitely isn’t an attempt to save the constitution.
