Bill O’Reilly earns an estimated $20 million per year to have an opinion. Who do you think pays for his opinion?
“You tell me where a man gits his cornpone and I’ll tell you what his ‘pinions is,” a character in a Mark Twain story wisely said. Still holds true today.
Planned Parenthood offered various services to over three million women last year. Of that, about 300,000 decided upon abortions, or roughly one in ten. Federal funding, grants, donations, and so on clearly didn’t pay $542 million for 300,000 abortions. That’s $1800 per, if all the funding went for that (which it didn’t, by federal law…none of it did. You think PP would risk their status with such a bone headed practice?)
Considering an abortion is more like $500 to $800…or about what many people spend at Starbuck’s in a year…I’d say your math doesn’t add up. And imho PP isn’t an ‘evil and criminal organization.’ That charge might apply to the Catholic Church, Notre Dame University and Penn State University, equally and as appropriately, Pax. Pot: thou art the blackest kettle.
